I am now embarking on a journey of portraiture, for which I have always held a fascination. Striving to reveal the persona of each individual, and especially my ancestors, requires skills and techniques that are being forged in me with great patience; mine and my mentor's. The process of painting my family is exigent, but rewarding, as I hope is evidenced by the portraits of my grandfather and father, above.
I can say with great confidence that a "good painting", especially a good portrait, is truly valuable and endures as a work of strong, intrinsic legacy. My pursuit of excellence is foremost to satisfy my own standards and to ensure I create and deliver a "good painting."
